The second annual Joliet Blues festival will be held this year at Joliet’s beautiful Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park, located on the west side of the Des Plaines river on August 10, 2019. The park will open at 3:00 p.m., the first act begins at 4:00 p.m., and the performances will conclude by 10:00 p.m.
“The quality of the music at last year’s event, and the positive feedback we received from everyone was wonderful. We are excited to offer another great line-up of blues entertainers for our guests in 2019” said the park’s Director of Development Debbie Greene.
Blues fans are encouraged to visit the festival website at www.jolietbluesfestival.com for festival information and to purchase tickets at the bargain price of $10 per person if purchased in advance at www.jolietbluesfestival.com or on our Facebook page.
“We have done everything we can to keep the ticket prices down so people can also enjoy the food trucks, BBQ sandwiches at our concessions stand, and of course, a cold beverage or two,” said Mrs. Greene. “There will be plenty of free parking immediately south of the park, and we encourage our guests to bring their lawn chairs.”
