J-Town Film Fest – submissions

High school students and adults are invited to submit original work for Joliet’s first film fest on April 29, 2018. This first year’s theme is “Focus On Film.”

The following categories are:
• animation
• comedy
• documentary
• drama
• music
• phone

Cell phone submissions must be under 10 minutes, all others under 20 minutes.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES & FEES:
• High School          March 29, 2018          $10
• Adult                       March 29, 2018          $25
• Adult Early Bird  March 1, 2018             $20
• Adult & HS Late  March 30-April 16      $30

Selected films will be shown in the park’s indoor theatre, featuring a new sound system and new larger indoor screen. The J-Town Film Fest will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2:00-4:00 pm. “Seeing the world through another’s eyes enlightens us all, it’s more than entertainment,” remarks Park Manager Lori Carmine.
