THE SPIRIT OF ALL HALLOWS EVE rolls in with HALL-ON-WHEELS October 15 & 16, 2016
The Bards’ Guild is pleased to bring you the 11th production of THE SPIRIT OF ALL HALLOWS EVE. New this year, audience members will be greeted with HALL-ON-WHEELS, a free outdoor display of Halloween decorated vehicles.
SHOW:
This original show explores the legends and lore of Halloween. Travel back in time to ancient Egypt and the rise of the mummy, mystic Celtic druids and fairies to early American colonies and their superstitions about witches.
TIMES – 2 per day:
Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm
Sunday, October 16 at 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm
TICKETS:
$5 all ages. Cash or check. Some moderately scary moments, recommended for those age 5 and older.
CONCESSIONS:
Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, sweets, pop, water, wine and fall brews.
HALL-ON-WHEELS:
FREE outdoor display of Halloween decorated vehicles – including hearses! Enjoy live, outdoor music as you stroll. Display open Saturday and Sunday 12 noon – 6:00 pm.The Bards Guild is please to bring you the 11th production of THE SPIRIT OF ALL HALLOWS EVE!
AUDITIONS for “The Spirit of All Hallows Eve” August 30 & 31, 2016
In search of cast and crew of about 30 for indoor Halloween theatre show, THE SPIRIT OF ALL HALLOWS EVE.
SHOW
THE SPIRIT OF ALL HALLOWS EVE will be presented Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 1:00 and 4:00 pm both days.
BACKGROUND
Created for the Park’s former Pumpkin Fest, the show returned to the Park several years ago. Each year the live show draws ever-larger audiences filled with fans of all ages. The original story weaves Halloween lore and legend through the ages, from ancient Egypt to early American settlers.
SEEKING ACTORS
Teens to adult preferred. Be prepared to pantomime to narration and ad-lib scenes with others. Optional: prepare a monologue up to 1 minute long.
CREW NEEDED
Crew is also needed as there will be extensive set and behind the scenes work. Looking for handy and crafty people for set building, painting, costuming and makeup, and prop designing.
ALTERNATE DATES
If August 30 and 31 are inconvenient, an alternate date may be arranged by calling the Park.
VEHICLES, TOO!
This year, the show will be accompanied by Halloween-themed vehicle car displays outdoors, Hall-On-Wheels. Looking for those interested in bringing their decorated car, truck, bike or hearse (especially!). Free to display.
