Independence Day Celebration 2021
Rock our nation’s birthday with the free Independence Celebration at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park (201 West Jefferson Street, Joliet) on Saturday, July 3 from 6:00-10:00 pm. We have live music from Dan Dougherty and Arbor Creek! Enjoy Taco Maui, hot popcorn, cold beer and smooth wine near the jammin’ pavilion north of Jefferson Street.
We will NOT have fireworks this year (unfortunately due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and the required advance planning). We’re looking forward to having fireworks return in 2022, but don’t miss celebrating 2021 with everyone at Bicentennial Park!
Bring blankets and chairs for grass seating by the pavilion. Indoor bathrooms will be open. Parking is free around the park. Get there early to get the best spot. Stroll the grounds for historic Joliet sites, visit the butterfly murals on the main building by the riverwalk and enjoy scenic views of downtown Joliet along the river.

Arbor Creek: 8:00-9:30 pm
