DETAILS:
Students meet on the indoor theatre stage. They should wear comfortable clothes and bring their imaginations! For the final class, students will present a skit to demonstrate the skills they have learned. The classes provide a wonderful introduction to theatrical drama, as well as an expansion of theatre knowledge since material is geared toward each individual. Some of the topics covered include: creative dramatics, improvisation, pantomime, script work, rhythm exercises, theatre techniques and terminology, stage directions, enunciation and projection. Students also learn useful tools for public speaking, interacting with others and listening skills. Plus, they have a lot of fun exercising those creative muscles.
Looking forward to more fun on-stage!
